Hello dotandro, Hopefully I'm understanding what you're asking? This is a non-believer who is presenting "alleged Bible difficulties"? Here's a quick thought or two. Rick Ritchie deals with this in the current issue of Modern Reformation. In his article, "What to do When the Bible Doesn't Make Sense", he states" "As with any belief system of any complexity, we believe because the central case is compelling to us, not because we comprehend how everything works. If someone presents you with a Bible difficulty, before you spend even a minute of time wrestling with it, determine how important it really is. 'Would a satisfying answer to this question lead you to adopt the Christian faith?' is a good question to ask. If the answer is no, then move on. You can also guide the person in thinking through which questions should be crucial." I hope this helps, BradK |

4 | help with a non believer, to understand | Rom 10:17 | BradK | 221446 | ||
Hello dotandro, Correct. By all means keep them in prayer that God may remove the veil. His point- and the one I'm encouraging- is that at some point someone needs to acknowledge that they're serious about the questions they ask. That they're asking because they sincerely desire answers, not just to play a game of cat-and-mouse! I hope that makes sense:-) Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |

Indeed you are so right. I agree totally. But I know, that GOD will come to all of us one day. And give us the opportunity to accept him. So I pray for a few people I know personally that our Father will come to them soon and knock on their hearts loudly. I ask for your prayers on this matter. I know JESUS and I saw my husband set up in bed and reaching his arms as high to the heavens as he could. He closed his eyes and slow motion laid down in my arms, I know where he is today, What a perfect gift GOD gave to me. So I only try to serve my Father, who has been so wonderful to me. Thank you Dotti |
