1 | Can this be related to today's world? | Acts 8:4 | reasonr | 159121
How might I use these verses to apply to today's world. This is where Saul was persecuting the Christians and they scattered to other places. Thus, the spread of the Word. Philip went to Samaria and many were converted. Does anyone feel this could be related to the split of a church, where another church is formed and more are added through the new church? I am thinking there is a correlation there.
2 | Can this be related to today's world? | Acts 8:4 | Makarios | 159129
Greetings ReasonR! Christianity was meant to be just as expansive today as it was back in Acts, spreading to all corners of the face of the earth! (Matthew 24:14, 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Rev. 14:6) And there is power for the salvation of souls in the message that we bring! It is our duty to help spread the message of God's one and only Son (John 3:16) to all people, showing the way to salvation for all people great and small. All of God's people hold to this pledge of spreading the message of salvation until the blessed return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Blessings to you, Makarios |
