1 | Acts 8:37 omitted in some Bible Versions | Acts 8:37 | malley | 152594 | ||
Hi RAF Act 8:37 [And Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."] NASV Act 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. KJV I am glad that it was not be omitted in the NASV. It seems like a very serious omission. I have been told that the Authorized KJV is the only Bible that Satan has not interfered with. Correct me if I am wrong. Best Wishes from Malley |

Hi Shirley, You wouldn't happen to have posted under a different alias would you? The reason I ask is your reference to "The Greek scolar Jason BeDuhn" as well as to the New World Translation is oddly reminiscient Now, I've checked Mt. BeDuhns' credentials and he is certainly a scholar of sorts with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School. He received a PhD from the University of Indiana in Comparative Religious Studies. However, I wouldn't term him a Greek scholar as that is not his area of focus. He may be neither a Catholic or a JW, but he does appear to have an agenda. Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
