1 | Who or what is the "gift of God" | Acts 8:20 | 13913
Well one of the gifts of God is the sacrifical Lamb of God which is Jesus Christ, he died for our sins so that we would have life eternal. after this when Jesus died and resserected he apeared to the disipels of him and told them to wiat and dont leave the city without my Fathers gift to you, which is the Holy Spirit of God or God the Holy Spirit, because God is in three diffrent forms, God the son, God the Father and, God the Holy Spirit. Gods gift to you was his spirit that you should be baptiezed in, this is not like water. Luke 24:45-49 is talking about the Holy Spirit, for John the baptist says in matthew 3:11-12,that Jesus Christ, will baptize in the Holy Spirit and not with water like him for the Lord is greater and this is the gift of God to man that he or she shall reiceve this gift.
2 | Who or what is the "gift of God" | Acts 8:20 | Ray | 13996
Hi OEHP, My question was one which required thought about both the gift and the Giver. Since your pronouns of Deity weren't capitalized I don't know if I know exactly what your thoughts are. In other words, you talk about "God the son" and "Gods gift to you was his spirit". Basically I would hear you saying that the gift was Himself. Thanks for answering. Later, Ray
