1 | Holy Spirit or holy spirit? | Acts 5:32 | Searcher56 | 64023
Ray, There were 11 disciples, or 12 if you add Matthias. There were 120 in the upper room. We know the 11 were witnesses ... and maybe the 120. Yes, the Holy Spirit is a witness ... but we cannot bring Him to court :-) Searcher |

2 | Holy Spirit or holy spirit? | Acts 5:32 | Ray | 64254
Hi Searcher, gingerbread and I need a Scripture reference for the 120 in the upper room. It is interesting is it not how contrasts are throughout the Scriptures. Jesus is the Lamb but also the Shepherd. He is the Witness, Faithful and True, but also the Advocate; our lawyer so to speak. May we be happy to see Him in court. :-) Do I understand that you guys are not open to considering a rendering of "holy spirit" for this verse? From the heart, Ray |
