1 | A certain Jesus? | Acts 25:19 | Ray | 42394 | ||
I need help once again from the Greek scholars for the translation here of a certain Jesus. The Greek does not have the word for "man". Is the word "one" in the Greek? I don't believe so. My view right now is that if I go with the NASB and include "about a certain dead man" then I must capitalize it because I know Him as a Man even as Paul did. If He were just a man then He would not be alive. The resurrection proves that He was who He said He was. So my question is, is this verse concerning One Jesus or a certain Jesus, according to the Greek manuscripts? |
