So I wonder why they use these verses as reasons for going door to door. It's not a bad thing... I mean if every Christian did that, more people might be saved. So if my husband were to mention again that every religion should do that if they're true followers of God; what should I say? Thanks Julia |

Julia, People will take scripture out of context and twist it to their own ends. Again I will go back to 2 Tim 2:15- Rightly dividing the Word of truth. Going door to door isn't a requirement for salvation. Not now not ever! If that's how one wants to share their faith then so be it, but but don't lay it on those who don't. Love God love people that's when you'll see things happen. In Him, lionheart |

3 | What should I say? | Acts 20:20 | julcol87 | 227103 | ||
lionheart, Thanks for your response. Like i mentioned to Beja, I was told the Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs were not right, and that they twist scriptures around, especially the one's showing that Jesus is God, and to them the Holy Spirit is Gods active force. I really don't like how they don't acknowledge Jesus as being more than just a man. They believe he was the "greatest man" who ever lived. Besides seeking advice from all who will help me, i know that God is the only way for everything. But please put me in your prayers. Thanks Julia |

Julia, I will pray fot you and your husband as well. In regard to twisting scripture consider 2 Pt 1:20-21. Makes it pretty clear that Gods Word speaks for itself. God's Word does not lend itself to private interpitation. In Him, lionheart |
