1 | Is There More To This? | Acts 1:8 | jakec2010 | 57043
Is there more to the "expanding sphere" of the reach of the "witnesses" than just the implications of beginning locally, expanding "to the ends of the earth"? That is, was there something more about the histories of the geographical areas Jesus talked about than just the distance issue? Does the question make sense? Thanks, -jb- |

2 | Is There More To This? | Acts 1:8 | Ray | 57089
Hi Jakec2010, I don't know what histories of Judea and Samaria you might be thinkin of, but Judea would be the Jews, Samaria the half-Jews, and the remotest part would be those who haven't heard a thing about this God of the Jews. Acts 1:8, "...EVEN to the remotest part of the earth." Matthew 28:20, "...I am with you always, EVEN to the end of the age." From the heart, Ray |
