Ken, my objective in asking this question was to prompt a discussion on the difference between one's personal testimony of their conversion experience and their day to day relationship with Jesus Christ. All too often believers think that their testimony is all they have to be prepared for, and I believe that "giving an account of the hope that is IN us" (1 Peter 3:15)means that we should be able to share what Jesus is doing in our lives in the present. Of course, in order to do this, we have to be committed to growing in our relationship with Him and sadly, many believers don't pursue the Lord beyond their conversion. mommapbs |

mommapbs Amen! I agree and the reason most don't pursue the Lord after conversion is their not dicipled and told this is essential to Christian living. Most are merely encouraged to become pew sitters. The church today has got to change their focus from trying to build bigger churches to a church that disciples people, helps them learn to build a relationship with Christ and how to disciple others.
