1 | Acts 12:2 and Acts12:17 - which James? | Acts 1:13 | Gye Nyame | 97622
In Acts 12:2, we learn that King Herod had James, the brother of John put to death by the sword. He then proceeded to seize Peter (v. 3). However, after Peter is miraculously released from prison, he meets with those who had been praying for him at the home of Mary the mother of John, and asks them in verse 17 to "Tell James and the brothers about this". Which James is being referred to in v.17? Surely not the one who had been killed?
