1 | Such thing as a Christian Witch? | Acts 19:19 | rujin312 | 155807 | ||
Can there really be such thing as a Christian Witch?(there are so many sites on them)-I found it hard to believe and im not saying that out of ignorance I have done my studies on the Wiccan faith and though not all of it makes sense,some of it does and is closely tied in with SOME of the Christian practices. I know its a door that once is opened can be VERY difficult but would it be ok if I were to try magic once?-that sounds idiotic because many have been prone to try it again and again and I'm not saying im stronger than anyone else,but I kinda need to do this for closure. Can someone please help? By the way I've read all the verses and talked to God about it and am aware of the consequences.. |

Hi, Ruj... Moses tells us, "There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee." (Deuteronomy 18:10-12) Consider this analogy: If a person loves his wife, and he knows that she is allergic to daisies, why would he still get her bouquets of daisies? If these things are utterly detestable to God, then why would we want to go near them? Not only are they entirely impotent to effect real change in our lives, they are an "abomination" to our God. You say you are aware of the consequences of walking contrary to God's will. Yet you also say that you are considering doing so. The inescapable conclusion is that this discrepancy is not due to a lack of sufficient facts or even a lack of belief; rather, the problem is rooted in morality. Someone with this perspective should seriously question their eternal standing. We will pray for you. In Him, Doc |
