1 | Filled with the holy spirit [sic] | Acts 13:52 | Makarios | 28396
Greetings Ray and Millenious, I would agree: "Holy Spirit" should be capitalized in this verse, since it is clear just who "Holy Spirit" is referring to, which is a person of the Godhead. Blessings to you, Nolan |

2 | Filled with the holy spirit [sic] | Acts 13:52 | Ray | 28529
Hi Nolan, I'm on a break after a post to Morant61 where I spoke of "agreement of capitalization" coining a new phrase perhaps. I thought that there should be such a rule just like Greek's rule of "agreement of gender". Using that same line of thinking, I would have to disagree with you in that I don't necessarily see the Person referred to. I see the word "joy" and being filled with joy. If I used my new "rule" I would need to interpret it, "And the disciples were continually filled with Joy and with the Holy Spirit." Any preferences for capitalization in the other "FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT" verses? Later, Ray |

3 | Filled with the holy spirit [sic] | Acts 13:52 | Makarios | 28558
Greetings Ray, That is Ok, my friend, that is Ok.. I really didn't mean to 'argue' with you. Sometimes this Forum is a very "imperfect" medium to communicate through, since we cannot fully interact with each other, face to face and one on one; we can only do it through words, which are more often than nought misinterpreted into something else.. I have no reason at all, nor do I want to argue with you. It would be a good study to get into all of the verses that have to do with 'being filled with the Holy Spirit.' Blessings to you and peace, my friend. Nolan |
