1 | What exactly must a person to be saved? | Acts 10:45 | Searcher56 | 79417 | ||
Scripture ... Luke 8:10-18 (vs 12), John 3:3-21 (vs 16), Acts 2:21, 2:38, 10:44-48 w/ 11:14, 15:1ff, 16:30-31; Rom 10:8-15a; Eph 2:4-10 ... Acts 10:45 is an example that shows that one doesn't need to say a prayer, or even come forward to be saved. Read the context (10:44-48 w/ 11:14). Read the other passages and see that we do need heart action - belief ... and mouth action - confession. While these are not clear with Cornelius and Company, I believe it happened. Being where 3 or more gather will not save you ... you could even be alone. Note the 2 or 3 gathered together is about church discipline (Matt 18:15ff). Being a Catholic, Baptist ... does not mean you are saved. Answer these questions ... 1) If you were die tonight, would you go to heaven? If yes, then 2) Then when you got to heaven and God were to ask you "Why should I let you into My heaven" ... what would you say? Searcher |
