1 | Son of Abraham, David, Joseph? | John 7:46 | Wigglesworth | 34953
Jesus was as much man as though He were not God, but, at the very same time He was as much God as though He were not a man. One hundred percent man and one hundred percent God at the same time.
2 | Son of Abraham, David, Joseph? | John 7:46 | Ray | 34989
Hi Wigglesworth, In the framework of capitalization then, you would make Jesus into the God/man. I would like to make Him the God/Man because He came as the second Adam. Adam was called Man when he was created. I know that Jesus was sinless and I see no reason to think of Him as a man [sic]. He came in the likeness of men, yes, but in order to show the contrast between Himself and mere men I see the need of showing His sinlessness and His deity by capitalizing Man. Do you see a necessity of keeping Him as a man? From the heart, Ray |
