Greetings Sweet, In Isaiah 54:13, the speaker is the Lord (v. 17), who is speaking of the sons of Zion. The Lord concludes this beautiful covenant of promise by saying, "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. .." In John 6:45, Jesus "reapplies" this passage for the "hearers", who were well versed in the Old Testament (and knew the passage in Isaiah), by saying that 'only those who learn from God come to salvation, and all who learn from Him are saved.' Blessings to you, Makarios |

Greetings Ray, Jesus never trained in a rabbinical school (Acts 4:13). However, the content and manner of Jesus' teachings were never before witnessed, since His knowledge of Scripture was, shall we say, "supernatural." :-) Blessings to you Ray! Makarios |
