Hi, Hopalong... I heard a Lutheran pastor the other day use a good analogy, one that I think you'd appreciate. He said, imagine a man in the hospital whose heart stops. He is dead. Its finished. Pale skin, blue lips, his flesh begins to cool. The doctors and nurses rush to his side, equipped with a defibrillator and medicines. They give him oxygen, inject his heart with adrenaline, then apply the paddles to his chest. A jolt of electricity courses through the man's heart. Suddenly, it starts beating again, his color returns, and he gradually regains consciousness. He smiles up at the attendants and says, "Wow, I'm sure glad I had the sense to resuscitate myself!" In Him, Doc |
