All that is required is that you ask the lord into your heart. You cannot lose your salvation. You may have personal issues you are struggling with and it is convicting you. Making you face the things you may not want to face. Face them head on, admit them to God and pray that they are taken from you. Chipp | ||||||

Hello sqkeener, You're correct that we can be fooled. Our emotions can fool us, and people can and do fool us, but the Word of God is certain. Maybe I should ask what your understanding is as to the basis of your salvation? Did you receive Christ at some point in your life (John 1:12)? Scripture declares: "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." (Rom. 10:9-10 NASB) If you placed your faith in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ, trusting that He died for your sins, then you have assurance of your salvation (1 John 5:11-13 NASB). How exactly are you out of God's will? Can you possibly describe it in terms of scripture? Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
