1 | Teacher or teacher? | John 3:12 | Ray | 56354
I believe that it is the God/Man speaking here in John 3:12. The NKJ has the pronouns of verse 11 in capitals denoting that Deity is speaking. John 3:10-12, NKJ, "(Jesus) answered and said to him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know of these things? Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak that which We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. If I/ have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?" I'd like you to consider whether you agree with NKJ or whether you would go with the NASB. Besides verse 11, the capitalization of pneuma or wind is one to be considered also. Does the Spirit blow where He wishes? Or is that an earthly thing that we can see and believe? Do We speak what We know? Or is this just a man speaking? From the heart, Ray |

2 | Teacher or teacher? | John 3:12 | Makarios | 56534
Hello Ray, I believe that it is the Lord who speaks in this verse, and He is speaking from His perspective as the Son of God! :-) So I believe that it should be "Teacher" instead of "teacher." Blessings to you, Makarios :-) |
