1 | Retain or forgive sins? | John 20:22 | Val | 204818
Pastor Tim, so do you have an altar call? The reason I ask is 99.9 percent of the churches I have attended do. How do you view the argument about decisional regeneration in relation to the altar call? Do you believe that some power is transferred to the person who makes a decision to accept Christ? That somehow this negates the work of the Holy Spirit? Thanking you in advance. Val

Greetings Val! Yes, our congregation does give altar calls. My understanding is quite simple. Christ said that He would draw all men to Him and it the Holy Spirit Who convicts of sin. So, an altar call is just one way of allowing a person the opportunity to respond to God's call. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
