God's day to you, Prajakta, Look at the threads below. 1. Jesus knew that all things had already been accomplished ... which means all Scripture concerning His life and suffering. 2. To fulfill the Scripture, said, "I am thirsty." ... which may refer to Psalm 69:21. Then after He drank (vs 29), He gave the Victory Cry (vs 30). It could be that He wanted to project His voice more. A parched throat would mean His voice wouldn't be heard very far. Searcher |
