1 | The Lord's prayer shows immaturity? | John 17:1 | humility | 215951
People condemn me because whenever they ask me to pray for them, I just repeat the Lord's prayer. Was'nt that the way He taught His disciples to pray? As a matter of fact, I love that prayer because it covers all the virtues of discipleship, (reverence for our Father, humility to His will, repentance, forgiveness, guidance, deliverance, and praise). What more could I ask my Father? When should my prayer be any different?

Dear Humility, I also love to pray the Lord's prayer especially during my devotional time. We also recite it at every Sunday service. I don't think they should condemn you, however, you may need to explain to them why you treasure the Lord's prayer so much and tell them the richness, depth and precious meaning of it. Meanwhile, I also think that we should not limit our prayer to the Lord's prayer as you can see how Jesus prayed in Gethsemane (Mat 26) and John 17 that those were very specific, yet, they were in the essence of the Lord's prayer.
