Hello JimmyHen, I disagree. Men does not refer directly to Muslims, although Muslims may kill Christians. And "God" refers to the one, true and living God in heaven, not Allah. Steve |

thanks Steve, i appreciate that, but "god refers to god" ? im not sure what you mean, but like in Exodus 20 where it says you shall have no gods before me, clearly god does not always mean thee God - thank you

Jimmy, How did you arrive at that conclusion? Have you considered that the clear implication is in fact referring to "God"? The NASB makes this clear as do ALL the other major translations! The Commentary Critical remarks: "the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service—The words mean religious service—“that he is offering a service to God.” (So Saul of Tarsus, Ga 1:13, 14; Php 3:6)." My friend, there seems to be a large amount of conjecture offered on your part with many of your posts. Your views seem to be out of line with what other good men of God hold- especially Scholars! Brad, thanks, thats hilarous, i am a scholar and im here to tell you the truth concerning these things, i would and have challenged the world's greatest scholars concerning these very things, and i assure you that god does not always mean thee God and in particularly this passage in John 16:2 , this is easy, Jesus doesnt teach to kill for God, muslims are taught to kill for allah(god) but your suggesting its those who follow Jesus are the ones Jesus is warning of? that Jesus is warning of those who will follow him? listen, i know your backward logic, it dont fit, when JEsus speaks, fear it, thats the bottome line here, your words are little in comparison, and so are mine, now i guarantee you when Jesus speaks, its designed with a very real purpose, to protect us, you know, if we so desire, we can learn the truth of all these things and more, did you think that Jesus wouldnt warn us of islam? we got muslims killing people all over the world and seeking to force everyone to submit to islam, this is a big deal, yet you think God would leave us in the dark, wondering if maybe usama is right, maybe muhammed is the last prophet, maybe islam is the truth path to God, is that what you think? you think God would leave us in the dark wondering such things, not me my friend, i believe wholeheartedly Jesus and the prophets spoke very clearly about the day we fae today, and its time for all of us who believe the Bible to be the written word of God to take it seriously and to decipher it to fit the situation we are faced with in the world today, thank you
