In Matt 3:17, 17:5 Mark 1:11 and 9:7 Luke 3:22 and 20:13, and 2Peter 1:17 God confirms to us that Jesus is His beloved Son and that we should hear Him and obey Him. Jesus in John 14:6 therefore tells is that He Jesus is the only access to God the Father. Finally in Hebrews 10:4, Paul who was a great Bible scholar who prior to the Damascus Road experience, did not recognize Jesus Christ, tells us that we are to fully recognize Jesus the Christ in his referencing Psalm 40:1 to 9 that Jesus is the Rock. Jesus is therefore necessary and mandatory. Remember that 2 Peter 2:24 informs us that Jesus bore our sins. Jesus mother was instructed to name Him Emmanuel, which means God with us. Hebrews 10:10 to 16 tell us that Jesus became our sacrifice, thereby releasing us from Old Testaments sacrifices. | ||||||
