Mone (Strong's 3438) a staying, abiding, dwelling, abode The same word is used in verse 23, where we are told about the indwelling Spirit. The root is meno (Strong's 3306) ... to remain, abide ... or to wait for, await one. It can mean a place where someone stays (John 1:38-39, 2:12, 7:9) ... as well as internal dweeling (John 5:38, 15:4 -16). So to answer your question ... there may be places where we stay (may not be inividual homes) or He is talking about internal dwelling. |
