11 "Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake." What works is Jesus speaking of? What 'works' did He do? Since in context He is not merely saying we will 'do works' but is specifically saying we will do the 'works' He did and greater works. What would make, as example, blind eyes open greater than Jesus opening blind eyes? Spreading the Gospel throughout the world for millions of blind eyes to be opened. Taking His message and His Spirit and spreading it throughout the world like wildfire! God bless |
