2 | What makes John the Baptist greater ? | Luke 7:27 | Ray | 1506 | ||
John the Baptist was an important vehicle for the kingdom of God for he introduced the people to the Lamb of God. But they didn't come out to see John but they came to see the Prophet, Jesus. Luke 7:27 "This is the One about whom it is written, 'Behold, I send My messenger ahead of You, who will prepare Your way before You.' (The capital 'O' is my interpretation, apologies to anyone who knows me). Could Jesus have gone on to say that anyone who is least in My kingdom is greater than he? I think so. rvh |
