1 | defending my lord | Luke 6:22 | jim taylor | 92296
one of the men that i work with at my everyday job said that he did not trust so called (bible pushers),preachers, etc. Being that i try to live by god's word, what he said upset me a little.I tried to reply to him with a verse from the bible for feedback on his subject, but my mind was to blocked to give him a reply. I guess my question is,what can i say or do to defend my lord and my fellow christians if this subject should arise again?
2 | defending my lord | Luke 6:22 | fran1946 | 92297
this scripture comes to mind when I read you statement. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast our your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. It is so sweet that God's word dose not need defending. All we as children of God have to do is live a true christian life, walk up right. The enimy which is the devil tries to keep everyone from believing the bible pushers. Remember it is not you that they are rejecting , it is the Lord. Keep on living the life of Christ and keep witnessing with the life you live. some time you don't have to say a word, just live it. Be blessed, and you are in my prayers. |
