1 | The lost years of Jesus | Luke 2:51 | cmurphy | 18380
I was having a discussion with some friends this weekend and one of them mentioned the Lost Years of Jesus. I unfortunately had never heard of this concept. I have done some basic research on the topic and basically the lost years says that Jesus went to the Far East to study other religions from the age of 12 to 32. If anyone has heard of this before can you give me reasons why this is true or why it is not true? I would greatly appreciate any help with this topic. Chris |

2 | The lost years of Jesus | Luke 2:51 | berea | 18400
I have heard of this once before and I don't believe it. Jesus had no reason to do this. He spent his life as a normal Jewish boy and young man. Working for his earthly father and learning and growing at home. That's why when He got up and read in the temple that day and started his ministry, his hometown folk said isn't this Jesus the carpenters son. They wouldn't have been so surprised had he done all those other things!
