Why did Simeon only address Mary? Is this more edvidence that Joesph was not living when Jesus started His ministry?
2 | Why did Simeon only address Mary? | Luke 2:34 | Makarios | 27186
Hello again Steve! Perhaps Simeon was also referring to the personal grief that Mary would endure when she watched her own Son and Savior die in agony (John 19:25). Joseph (presumably dead by then) would not be stricken this way if he were dead. That may be why Mary was specifically addressed and not Joseph. Blessings to you, Nolan |

4 | Why did Simeon only address Mary? | Luke 2:34 | Makarios | 27205
