1 | what are the laws of God | Luke 24:44 | john divico jr | 159671
doc, i'm writing a book / putting together notes on human suffering and our resulting perception of god's character/nature; of course arguing for his love and faithfulness in it all. my premise is that suffering and death ahve entered into the human race as an invader from outside god's will, yet necessarily. not because god desired that we should suffer, but as a result of our transgressing his laws of goodness and holiness. we have used our freewill to go outdside, but yet many blame him for the suffering in the world. it is my intention to illustrate that god's nature and laws predated us and when we pushed [push] beyond them it occurs apart from his will and results in separation, and in the case of our race in general, sickness and death. my own battles with cancer have taken quite the toll on my family's and my faith, and while i feel we are recovering, i'm sure many seek a healthy perspective on the subject. it really bothers me when people sat that god is the author of tragedy. NO! he is the author of what exists in heaven [joy, love, peace,]and anything contrary has "entered in some other way" i seek a simplified list of the laws of god that we have transgressed that illustrate the point. i plan to compare how we cannot similarly transgress the set laws of nature expecting unnatural results. this, i hope will clarify for Him, john |

2 | what are the laws of God | Luke 24:44 | John Agape | 159687
One simple law of forgiveness is taking how God wants us to forgive, pray for our enemies, and the real battle we face (eph 6:12) It becomes "To truly forgive someone you have to desire to see him blessed so that satan has no accusation agaist you. Our God is a god of love and that is his seed. Satan comes to kill, steal and destory what God has freely given us by His grace. In your case I would suggest that you study healing in the bible. Look at the promises that apply to all believers. Ask yourself "Do I believe this promise applies to me?" In my case satan has tried to decive me, causing my own unbelief, with "It is not God's will!" It was helpful for me to separate God's will into what He wants for me and His purpose for me. His Promises are what He wants for me. Clues to His purpose for me some times lie in my current struggles. After praying for deliverance and not seeing my prayer answered, I ask myself "Why is God allowing, not causing, my stuggle to continue?" Am I forgeting to tell God how much I love him? Praise God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit I will. Is he trying to strengthen me for perseverance? Persevere I will. Am I forgetting to rebuke satan? I will rebuke him by quoting God's promise. Is He holding back so that I do not become conseited? Humble myself I will. And sometimes God allows my struggle so that I am in a place to glorify Him. And glorify him I will. I believe this is the place God has placed you. With your book you can glorify him and your teasure in heaven will be greatly increased. In the Glory of Christ, John Agape |

3 | what are the laws of God | Luke 24:44 | DocTrinsograce | 159688
Dear John, I do not find any passage in Scripture where Satan can "cause" unbelief. Unbelief stems from the heart of man (Romans 1:28) or from God Himself (John 12:39-40). Further, I do not find Scripture where God has granted anyone the authority to rebuke Satan. As has been pointed out tonight already, even the angel Michael lacked this authority (Jude 9). If possible, please direct me to the Scriptures on which you base these doctrines. In Him, Doc |

The notion that people can order Satan about when they can't even get their kids to do what they tell them is truly astonishing. Grace to you, Kalos |
