1 | Why did Jesus speak these words? | Luke 23:31 | Mommapbs | 138875 | ||
Little Ming - greetings - when you have a question about a verse, look for a green n beside it in context. This means that someone has discussed it before. Prayon wrote in a previous post: "I am led to understand that this is in relation to a proverb.Green wood does not normally burn, nor are innocent men executed. But if these things do happen now what will happen in the future? Another interpretation is if the innocent Jesus (green wood) suffered at the hands of the Romans what would happen to the guilty Jews (dry wood)?" Jesus is MORE than a prophet; He is God. Listen to Him. Today is the day of (opportunity)salvation, tomorrow may be too late. 2 Cor 6:2 See also Heb 3:7-19 Blessings, mommapbs |
