1 | Christ comes in kingdom power at the End | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 96952
Candy Lee, Mark 9:1 must be understood in connection with Rev.12:10 where we find God's Kingom Power and Christ's Authority taking place at the Endtime of 1260 days ... see verses 6 and 14!! Mel Miller at www.lastday.net, and click on Meditations. |

Lastday Couldn't this verse refer to the Holy Ghost's coming at Pentecost? I think it should be looked at in conjunction to Matthew 3:2; 4:17; 4:23; 6:33; 9:35; 10:7 just to name a few. He will physically reign on the throne of His kingdom when He returns. Check out Colosians 1:13. Asis |

3 | Christ comes in kingdom power at the End | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 96961
What would be the point of saying that "some would not taste death, by any means, until after Pentecost"? All the Apostles died after Pentecost. The only explicit reference to the NOW of God's Kingdom Power is Rev.12:10. Mel |

4 | Christ comes in kingdom power at the End | Mark 9:1 | Asis | 96962
Last day Physically, yes, just like we may, but we have eternal life and will not die as those before us. John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. [KJV] John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. [KJV] John 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. [KJV] Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. [KJV] I have eternal life and will not taste death. 2 Cor. 5:6-8 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: [7] (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) [8] We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. [KJV] The kingdom of Jesus Christ arrived on the day of Pentecost. God transfered us from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of His Son when we first believed. We were given the life of the God, eternal life and ushered into the family as though we are natural born of God. Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: [KJV] Could it be that Rev 12:10 is refering to a past ocurrance in time. Something that has already happened. Remember Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. [KJV] Could Jesus have been refering to something in the future of in the past? Did you read Colosians 1:13? Were we transfered into a powerless Kingdom. I wonder. Asis |

5 | Christ comes in kingdom power at the End | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 96985
Asis, I meant to explain that Christ comes in power at the End of time ... during the 1260 days when the Two Prophets "stand before the God of earth." You did not answer my question on why Jesus would say that only "some" would taste death when, in fact, they all died. Mel www.lastday.net |

Lastday Did they all die before the Spirit of promise came and endued them with power? Did they all die before they received eternal life? Then the question becomes did all who were with Jesus in Mark 9:1 stay with Him or did some leave when the sayings got too hard? The most important question is "Why does this matter." Will knowing this bring me closer to Jesus? Asis |

7 | Christ comes in kingdom power at the End | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 97049
None of them died before the Spirit of promise came and endued them with power! Even the thought of whether Believers could die before they received eternal life is a hypothesis that is contrary to God's promise. I urge you to consider the main point of Mark 9:1, i.e., that Jesus is not thinking of the disciples but of "those who will be standing here" (when He is about to come in glory with the holy angels, Mark 8:38). Many in the Church today are not overcomers, but "they will overcome Satan by not loving their life unto death ... even some who must taste death for up to 3 days after the Two Prophets are killed."
