stjohn All that I'm saying is that as co-creators with God,we create the enviroment that we live in by the way we think.God said let us make man in our image--that's a thought, then came action,God breathed--result-- man was created. As far as acting rich or poor, there's to many to list ,but one way may be in giving. Is a person a giver or do they hold back. No funds--you can make it happen this year by creating a different enviroment. You can do it with a positive attitude for every area of you life, elimaninate excuses especially religious or self hating ones.Understand that we have been created by our creator to be decisive and rule,if we refuse to decide our life other people or circumstances will then decide it for us.God has decided to let us decide. Job22:28 says you decide a matter and it will be confirmed and light will shine on your ways. There are two primary ways to view God. His person revealed through grace and truth through Jesus Christ. The other way is through his laws or principles of creation. Mt.5:45 That you may be children of your father which is in heaven, for he makes his sun rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust. Luke 16:8 And the Lord commened the unjust steward, because he had done wisely, fore the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. We can know the person of redemption yet ignore the natural laws of creation and wonder why God allows us to suffer, but it is really because we violate the natural laws that God put in place at creation, they work for everybody always. On the other hand we may know the laws of creation, bot still be unfullfilled in our heart because we do not know the person of redemption.May we come to know him both as creator and redeemer AMEN! aah yes, the name it and claim it crowd. What would they say to a christian brother who is getting his limbs hacked off for preaching the gospel. Hey brother you need to stop the way you're thinking, because you're creating your own reality by the way you think! Oh well, God bless em. | ||||||

Here's a good discussion of Word of Faith: http://www.biblebb.com/files/WRDFAITH.HTM Speaking of which: It appears that Kenneth Copeland has been in the news lately. He will not provide full financial disclosure. I bet Joyce Meyer wouldn't either. I guess they differ a bit from a mindset like Moses (Hebrews 11:26). |

Amen Brother, And by faith and without fear, he left the riches of Egypt behind! verse 27. Something old K.C. should think about when he preaches on, perfect love casteth out fear! Satin is happy to let us have what we want, as long as we have to spin scripture to justify it! I'd like to see wether K.C. would change his tune if he lost everything and had to sleep on the street for a while! Maybe his reason would return to him? Nebuchadnezzar's sure did, but only after he ate dirt for quite some time! :-) Dan 4:34 "But at the end of that period, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever; For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom endures from generation to generation." God Bless John |
