1 | How can we experience God's presence? | Mark 6:48 | Gordon Goode | 73444
In Mt.28:20 Jesus speaks of being with us always. It seems to me that we do not always enjoy His presence in the way this verse suggests. |

2 | How can we experience God's presence? | Mark 6:48 | One | 73445
Mark 6:48 Seeing them straining at the oars, for the wind was against them, at about the fourth watch of the night He *came to them, walking on the sea; and He intended to pass by them. Read this story some time it is good. Basically Jesus has sent His disciples a head to the other side of a lake that a few miles across. The disciples row all night and are now only half way across. Jesus has spent all night watching them and praying now He walks out on the water to them and intends on passing them by. So where is Jesus during their struggle? Watching! Where is He when there afraid on the water? Waiting for them to call out! To many times I think we are like the apostles we struggle asking where is God, instead of saying God help me have strength to endure, and know God is there watching rooting us on. |
