Greetings So Confused, My 4 year old's Sunday School class uses verses out of the International Children's Bible (a Bible version for kids) that includes such verses as Mark 16:15: Mark 16:15 "Go everywhere in the world. Tell the Good News to everyone." (ICB) Another one is Psalm 147:5: Psalm 147:5 "Our Lord is great and very powerful. There is no limit to what he knows" (ICB) Psalm 41:13 "Praise the Lord, the God of Israel. He has always been, and he will always be. Amen and amen." A sample curriculum goes like this: Week 1 - Jesus Stops a Storm (Mark 4) Week 2 - Jesus Heals a Young Girl (Luke 8) Week 3 - Jesus Feeds a Crowd (John 6) Week 4 - Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind (John 9) Week 5 - Jesus Heals 10 Men (Luke 17) Week 6 - Jesus Brings Lazarus Back to Life (John 11) As for other things for kids: http://www.kidsofcourage.com/ - Kids of Courage is a website for Kids - where they can learn about other kids who are standing up boldly for Christ around the world. There are downloads and magazines and great stuff. http://www.makingfriends.com/bible_crafts.htm - good page for ideas about Bible crafts, etc. I hope that this helps! Blessings to you, Makarios |

4 | How old are the children? | Mark 16:15 | biblicalman | 227991
assuming you mean Mark 10.15 they were old enough to come to Him and for Him to put His arms round them and then lay His hands on them. 'that He might touch them' indicates those who were not babes in arms. They were therefore probably 5 upwards. In a comparative passage Jesus speaks of 'those who believe in Me' (Mat 18.6). Thus they were of an age to believe. His whole point is their openness and honesty without prejudice creeping in.

Dear Biblicalman: Sorry for the confusion, but my question was to 'soconfusedinthisworld', I wanted to know how old were the children she was going to be teaching in Sunday School? Should have structured the question better. Sorry! |
