TheCurtMan: Problem is, God didn't divide the Bible into chapters and verses. And I rather doubt that Paul had anything of the sort in mind when he instructed Timothy to "rightly divide the word of truth" (2 Tim. 2:15). These trivia oddities present a casual interest, perhaps, but I can't see any sense at all to be made in attaching any hidden meanings to them. --Hank

No Hank, I'm not suggesting any hidden meanings. I found it interesting the way the numbers looked and added up. I also found it interesting because one of my favorite verses is Prov. 3:5-7. Casual Interest is a good way of putting it, basically, that's all there is. However; the verse in Psalms will go hand in hand with the one from Prov. It's the verse I normally use when I encounter someone who is seeking God's will in their life. |

TheCurtMan: Oh, I never intended to suggest that you attached any esoteric meanings to the trivia. I've followed your posts and would therefore think that your interest in the oddities and concidences of chapter and verse "numerology" would be nothing more than curiosity. I readily admit that they not infrequently prove interesting and are pleasant ways to pass the time. Good to hear from you. --Hank
