1 | jcsav, Was it Peter alone who was afraid | Matt 8:26 | Searcher56 | 143388
jcsav, You have twisted Scripture. The context you mentioned fear was Matthew 8:23-27, Mark 4:37-41 ... So I ask you again - where in the context of Matthew 8:23-27 or Mark 4:37-41 do you see "The only disciple that we see that was deilos as revalation meant the word was Peter ... And as you see the Lord forgave him.".

No, I did not twist Scripture. You ask me what Scripture did I have in mind. One of the Scripture I mention has to do with deilos (Cowardly as it is used in Rev. 21:8) and one Peter forgivness by Jesus. Because you do not see the word "fear" in the text do not take away from the meaning of the text. Peter lied because he feared for his life so he denied Jesus. Mat 8 and Mark 4's fear(deilos) is not used in the same text as Rev's 21:8 so it do not but ones soul at risk. You do not go to hell for being afraid of a storm. You do go for denying Jesus.
