Greetings Prayon! I enjoyed reading your note on the parable of the ten vigins and I am wondering if perhaps the 5 foolish virgins who know about Christ but do not have a personal relationship with Him describe what will happen to similar people AFTER the Rapture of the Church. I've been pondering 2 Thess 2:12 recently and it appears that those who did not respond to Christ prior to the rapture will not have a "second chance" afterward. After the rapture of the Church, we enjoy the marriage feast of the Lamb, so it would seem to relate to this passage. I note with interest that THE DOOR WAS LOCKED (v. 10) and Christ's response to those who called out to Him "I don't know you." (v.12) What is your take on this? Blessings to you on this day! Hi Mommapbs, I enjoyed comparing your 2 Thess 2:1-14 with Matthew 24:31-25:31. Thank you for bringing this thread back for our consideration. While you wait for prayon's answer perhaps you would like to compare these verses. 2 Thess 2:3 with Matthew 24:35 Mt 24:26,27 with 2 Thess 2:14 Mt. 24:34 with 2 Thess 2:2 2 Thess 2:2 with 1 John 3:24 Mt 24:35-37 with 2 Thess 2:4-6 If you find anything there to talk about I would be pleased to hear from you either here or in a new thread. Thanks again for your interest here. I trust that we may be doing the work of the Lord and in charge of all that we have been given when He comes. I trust that we are beloved brethren of the Lord who have been chosen by God from the beginning for salvation. Mt.24:46,47 - 2 Thess 2:13 From the heart, Ray |

Greetings in the precious Name of Jesus - the Name that is able to make us wise unto Salvation, the only Name under Heaven by which we are saved! I appreciated reading the cross-references. God's Word is so comforting. If you continue along this thread, you will read what is "eating at me." I would appreciate your continued insights! Having faced cancer and its treatments with our son in '94 (He was miraculously healed - for which we continue to give thanks and praise to Jesus) I understand some of the challenge that you are facing - to a degree anyway! May God bless you (and those you love)with His Peace! You will be in my prayers! Mommapbs |
