1 | Why did Jesus say "never again?" | Matt 24:21 | Taleb | 78822 | ||
CDBJ, we agree on SO many points. Let me show you which ones according, to when my agreement starts. 2 Thes. 2:1-4. I agree with what Paul wrote here. AND I agree it is connected with Dan 9:27, BUT I also note that the 27th verse is connected to the 23rd. through the 26th. There lies the clues that your “book” failed to point out to you. Daniel gives us exactly 490 years from when the city was decreed to be rebuilt until the desolation would happen. And please note that rebuilding started before Christ was born. Hello? I agree with this statement you made – 100 percent. “Isaiah describes this same condition that Daniel spoke of along with Jesus and Paul and lastly John in Revelation.” If you want specifics on about THEIR FULFILLMENTS you have to accept what HIS-story tells us – because the only thing left is “Prophesy books” that can’t do the math, that too often disprove themselves, and have no Scriptures to back up their false conceptions. Actually, I agree with MOST of the rest of your post, knowing the Scripture words were written with the author’s future in mind, BUT NOT OUR FUTURES. From HIS-story we know what they said was going to happen has happened. But your statement, “Because when the great tribulation is over it will mark the end of the times of the Genital, confused me. HUH? Surely your not thinking that the Rev.11:2 trodden for 42 months means something other than the 42 months the Romans warred in the streets of Jerusalem in the first century? In actuality, it was a few days more, but…. then Concerning the Jews returning to Israel as being a sign is A FRAUD. Name me one prophecy where it says they shall return – which hasn’t ALREADY BEEN FULFILLED. Because there is NO EVIDENCE in Scripture that says one prophecy can have two separate fulfillments, I don’t buy into that deception either. And many of my Jewish relatives will tell you the same thing. During the seven-day war was when the antichrist did what? Interesting, isn’t it, what a prophecy book can “prove”? Speaking of antichrist, have you read what John wrote in 1 John 4:3? He wrote it not of their future, but THEIR "THEN". “But the spirit of AntiChrist, whose coming you were warned about. Well, NOW HE IS HERE, IN THE WORLD.” And either the ANTICHRIST WAS IN THE WORLD, OR JOHN LIED. The antichrist DID all that Jesus, and Paul, etc. said he would do. HIS-story explains it very accurately. That is unless that is another one of those prophecies that have more than one fulfillment. :) But take heart, at least we agreed on some major points. For that we are pleased. :) Respectfully, Taleb Don’t be deceived that it has NOT happened already. :) |

Taleb ... Name the man who fulfilled "who ... exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God" (2 The 2:3-4). Don’t be deceived ... this has NOT happened already. And is this for a small church, only, since in 1:1, Paul says "To the church of the Thessalonians" Searcher |
