God's day to you, Motley, I base my statement on Matthew 19:5-6 Since a parent-child relationship is temperory (since the child leaves) and the husband-wife is permanent (let no man separate), I would the husband/wife comes before the childern. I understand your point that a child from conception until she or he can care for themselves need nurturing (help). While a child is part of both parents, we must never forget our spouse is still more important. Searcher |
