1 | Perculiar Person, should Joni of married | Matt 19:12 | EdB | 56154
Searcher Again Ken and Joni married with full knowledge of her situation there was no deceit. Had Joni in some way tricked Ken into marring her, keeping her situation hidden, then yes I think he should have been allowed to divorce her. A marriage with a foundation birthed in deceit is wrong. EdB |

2 | Perculiar Person, should Joni of married | Matt 19:12 | Searcher56 | 56158
EdB ... I am asking Perculiar Person the question. While I do think he was wrong for not telling, it is wrong to divorce. There are couples who marry knowing there cannot be children or sex in the fulless. Searcher
3 | Perculiar Person, should Joni of married | Matt 19:12 | EdB | 56163
Searcher I didn't mean to interrupt I'm sorry. And your right there are some couples that marry knowing there will be no sex or children. I think as long as both parties are well aware of this then the marriage vows are valid. If on the other hand one is not aware and the other entered the marriage with deception then an annulment is in order as the vows are invalid. EdB |
