You might start by studying the first 3 chapters of Poverbs,, Pro 3: 1 My child, don't forget what I teach you. Always remember what I tell you to do. 2 My teaching will give you a long and prosperous life. 3 Never let go of loyalty and faithfulness. Tie them around your neck; write them on your heart. 4 If you do this, both God and people will be pleased with you. 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. 6 Remember the Lord in everything you do, and he will show you the right way. And then chapter 1 of 2 Peter 2 Pet 1: 3 God's divine power has given us everything we need to live a truly religious life through our knowledge of the one who called us to share in his own glory and goodness. philemcc |

Thank you. I will go back and study Proverbs 1-3, and 2 Peter. I don't know how long this will last, but lately I've noticed that I start to feel excited when someone brings up something biblical that I have actually noticed too. My pastor was teaching on Spiritual Fruit (actually still is) a few weeks ago, and referenced 2 Peter 1:5-8. I can't remember much of what he said afterwards, cause I just kept rereading those verses. I copied them big and bright onto a sign for my wall. Can't figure out why I didn't notice them before. But I still have to look at the rest of the chapter, and the Proverbs ones too. Thank You! Steph |
