Hi, Momma! No. Furthermore, I doubt anyone could demonstrate any conclusive correlation from Scripture. Nor do I find anyone having attempted it. http://christianbeliefs.org/articles/biblenumerics.html In Him, Doc |

3 | 70 weeks of Daniel? | Matt 18:22 | Mommapbs | 150720 | ||
Hi Doc - Could Jesus be telling us that although God is forgiving, He is also a God of wrath - (as BradK recently reminded us!) I always thought that His mercy isn't mercy without justice - is there not a finite limit of God's patience with His creation? (I'm not getting into a "numbers" thing, here, I just wondered about this.) Seems to me that when Peter was asking about forgiving a brother and Jesus' brethren are the Jews, I connected the "dots" a bit and therefore I wondered if God's response to Israels' rebellion (thus allowing the Gentile ingrafting) could be for the same time period - He will pour out His wrath upon the world, those who have rejected Him, at the end of the 70th week of Daniel or 490 years. This is how I came to ask my question - sorry if I've created any offense here! Blessings, mommapbs |
