1 | As a believer can I commit suicide. | Matt 18:12 | LJ777 | 199317
I appreciate your concern. It is not my desire to misinterpret scripture, I was just trying to help someone who felt discouraged and, from what it sounded like to me, alone. I've been there. I know what it's like. I noticed that no one had responded to the person who wrote the original note, and all I was trying to do was love my neighbor. Pertaining to the scripture I refrenced, the idea that I was trying to convey was that no matter how far we feel or get from God, He will leave those "99" behind to find the one that is lost. It's a scripture that has helped me get through some hard times. If I have erred than I apologize, but I didn't want the person who wrote the note to be alone while they were struggling with such a hard place.

God bless your heart, LJ! And a warm welcome! :-) Sorry you saw us leaving someone hanging like that, that's pretty bad form at the forum. If I may point to verse again, if we look at the one who has wandered away and become lost. We can see that He, (The Good Shepherd) Goes and gets that sheep of His. I think we can say safely that His blood is sufficient to cover completely, all sin for His sheep, past, present, and future! Mark 3:28, John 17:9, John 17:24, John 18:9. God bless John |
