O humourless one: The first definition is "one who jokes." While this is contrary to our earnest sense of Jesus, there is some truth to it. I overstated my case for rhetorical effect. My dictionary has the "obnoxious or incompetent" element as U.S. usage. Hmmm..... I don't really care to pursue this.... see my other reply (to Hank).
