1 | Men created equal? how huge is differenc | Matt 15:22 | joel k | 104628
shelton ... many people have banged their head against the wall about this measure of scripture. May God bless the reading of His Holy Word and may he grant you Peace and understanding as I attempt to answer your questions about this statement in the mind of the Spirit of God. Q- 1. "would he save the Israelite first?" A- there are two ways to look at this ... Jesus did not reject her at all ... He simply did not answer her until he knew the measure of her faith. Because Jesus in his Deity, is God, and he repays each according to the measure of their faith and our faith is always reflected in our ablity and willingness to confess our faith before others. When he does answer her he is making a mockery of the pharisees and their "human teachings" like the ones he delt with in the verses which preceeded these. That being said ... about the two falling into the river ... He would not save the Israelite first, they are already God's chosen people. And besides God can save both in His right hand at the same time and still have room for you and me. Or he could simply part the waters again and let them walk across the dry river bottom like before. Q - 2. in the parable...bla bla bla...like dogs A - first ... this is not a parable ...seccond accept this: ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL ! We are all from the ones he created in the garden. Adam and his wife, Eve who is an equal created from the side of who God created when he created you and me. Once again I'll tell you Jesus was using this mockery to show the harmful structure of the teachings of the pharasies. This truth is self-evident in the very nature of Christ, who never placed anyone below himself, but he willingly served them. So your real answer is .. no Christ didn't call you a dog. God speed, Joel k |

2 | Jews and Gentiles NOT equal ? | Matt 15:22 | Ngop | 104718
Joel k, I think Jesus was not making a mockery of the Pharasees. He was serious when He said He was sent to the lost sheep of Israel. This can be confirmed when Jesus sent the twelve disciples in Matthew 10:6 "but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel". It is true that the Jews are the "favorites". They are the "chosen ones." And yes, He was testing the faith of the woman. In all His miracles of healing, Jesus always emphasized on the subject's faith( Mat 9:22;Mat 8:10;Mat 9:2 and many more ). But what happens to us, Gentiles. This is the question asked by Shelton88. My opinion is, at first it was really the Jews. Between them and us, there existed an edge to their advantage. BUT in John 4: 21-24, "Jesus declared to a NON-JEW "........But an hour is coming, and NOW IS, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such PEOPLE the Father seeks to be His worshipers........ God bless Ngop |

3 | Jews and Gentiles NOT equal ? | Matt 15:22 | joel k | 104722
ngop ... good morning. hey why don't you post aprofile so we can know who we are speaking with? it's kindda common to have a name ... ha ha ha thanks for that reply. I will not agree with you but thats what we are here for. let me add to what you said, john ch. 4 this is the only time in the ministry of Jesus that he was found to be outside the regions of his own country. However, even within your own reply you say it's true they are the coosen ones ... they were ... then at the end you say about the true worshipers will worship in spirit and truth. don't walk the fence.. I'll shake you down ... ready .. hold on ... Ok if Jesus came for the lost sheep of Israel, like you stated then all my hope is gone ... I need a saviour too. NOW LISTEN , I READ A POST BY SHELTON AND HE IS MAJOR CONFUSED ABOUT SOME ISSUSE THAT HANG ON THIS VERSE. SO I USED MY EDUCATION AND GOT THE ANSWER TO HIM, ABOUT WHY JESUS CALLED US DOGS, AND I GAVE THE TRUTH TO SHELTON88 AND LET HIM KNOW THAT JESUS WAS MOCKING THE PHARASEES, BECAUSE IT IS WHAT THE WOMAN EXPECTED HIM TO DO. AT FIRST HE DIDN,T EVEN ANSWER HER. now please learn the truth. the israelites were God's chosen people. but all over the old testament it tells us of their rebelion, and God turned his back to them . the new testament says the jews will be saved too. but that's only what few will be left. if you are going to answer somebody's answer you better make sure how your education matches up to theirs. This whole concept of answering a question from a believer or potentional believer is to answer it with knowledge ...God's knowledge. not some ambigous thoughts you find rolling around within your own questions. I am sorry brother if I seem angry, but as I am writing I can see the tread at the bottom of the page and mine looks weak because you wrote jews ans gents NOT equal . so I feel like I wasted alot of time 2 1/2 hrs to get the truth to sheldon now it is in the shadows of the same doubts too. God save us all |

4 | Jews and Gentiles NOT equal ? | Matt 15:22 | Ngop | 104776
Joel K Greetings, Brother. Before everything else, hold your horses. I did not contradict your post. In fact I supported it with the verse from John 4. The Jews may be the the chosen ones "BUT an hour is coming, and NOW IS, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such PEOPLE the Father seeks to be His worshipers". It is because of the rebellious hearts of the Jews that Jesus said the hour is now that the Father seeks the PEOPLE that worship in truth and spirit. Certainly no longer the race. I find this topic very interesting because this also burdened me when I first saw the Light a few years ago. I have asked heaps of preachers and priests during those times. I know it is very burdensome to Shelton, that's why I tried to share. Your Gentile Brother in Christ, Ngop |
