1 | Is saying you are a god unforgiveable? | Matt 12:32 | Inkpanther | 169722
If you have been born again. Then claim you are a god. Is this forgiveable? I got to thinking about this today. Because of all the teachings on televisions claiming we are gods. Then someone today on a message board ask are not all the false prophets born again christians? Then I got sick to my stomach. What if this was the most ingenius sceme of the Devil to get Christians born again and then get them to blasphemy god.
2 | Is saying you are a god unforgiveable? | Matt 12:32 | seedling | 169723
Hi You need to look at two portions of scriptures...Psalms82:6 and John 10:34- 39... As born again christians, we are not claiming to be God, but God's children. Therefor we are not blaspheming but are witnesses. There is a large difference between god with a little g and God with a big G. Does anyone else have thoughts on this. The unforgiveable sin is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit...Matthew 12:31-32. Seedling |

3 | Is saying you are a god unforgiveable? | Matt 12:32 | Inkpanther | 169744
Psa 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. The word translated "gods" is: H430. 'elohiym, el-o-heem'; plur. of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but spec. used (in the plur. thus, esp. with the art.) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative:--angels, X exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty. Which means "judges" If you check content. Now but that not what the Preaches on Television are teaching. People are making emphatis on little "g" but it makes no difference if they are still meaning "gods" and not "judges" if they are saying "gods" and meaning "judges' then it is a little 'g' but that is not the context we are being taught. It is blasphemy in that even it would be unforgiveable then right? |
