1 | Just one more question on Matthew 10:23 | Matt 10:23 | Chusarcik | 90759
In reading the previous answer for my question on Matthew 10:23, I understand that Jesus indicates to the apoostles that the message of the gospel will not finish reaching all nations before Jesus' 2nd coming, but in thinking about this I have another question: Why does this verse say the apostles won't finish spreading the gospel specifically to all the cities of Israel if rather than to all cities of the world if we are to take it that Jesus meant all nations here? 2 | Just one more question on Matthew 10:23 | Matt 10:23 | EdB | 90760
Chusarcik Jessu plainly declared no one except God knew the date and time of Jesus' return not even Himself (Jesus). Therefore to seek hints of Jesus' return in what Jesuss said is foolish since Jesus already said he didn't know. Jesus said we would know the season. He said children would stop respecting parents, man would become lovers of pleasure rather than God, that people would become hateful and unloving. Aren't these all the things we see in our society? He also said like in the days of Noah so shall people be before his return. Noah preached for 120 years and not one person repented and came aboard the Ark. However we still see people repenting today so we aren't quite there yet, but we certainly aren't far away. EdB |

Chusarcik Let correct my misspelling of Jesus in my last post. Jesus plainly declared no one except God knew the date and time of Jesus' return not even Himself (Jesus).
