All the Apostles were disciples, but most of the disiples were not Aposles. The word aposlte means, one who is sent. The main Apostles are the original twelve called by Jesus (Matt 10:1-15; Mark 3:13-14; Luke 6:12-16), plus Matthias who was chosen by lot and the Jesus after the Ascenion to replace Judas (Acts 1:15-26) and then Paul who was called by Jesus on the road to Damascus ( Acts 9). |
