Greetings Vala, I agree with mommapbs, the bible does not prohibit friendship. But I want to remind you of the following scriptures. We must also use caution in our actions so that we do not lead others astray. Although the friendship may be strictly friendship others may not see it like that. A ababy Christian may see you and feel that since you are 'in a relationship' it must be ok. Mat 5:29 "But if your right eye causes you to stumble pluck it out and cast from you, for it is better for you that one of your body parts perish and not your whole body be cast into hell Rom 14:21 It is good not to eat meat nor to drink wine nor by which your brother is caused to stumble or is made to fall or becomes weak. 1Co 8:13 For this very reason, if food causes my brother to stumble, I shall never at all eat flesh into the age, so that I do not cause my brother to stumble. prayon |
